With Christmas here, many area churches will hold special services to celebrate Christ's birth. Listed below are the days and times of services at area churches.

Bethel United Methodist, Manly, and Trinity United Methodist Church, Bolan- Christmas Eve, 6 p.m., ringing bells in the community, with other invited to join; virtual Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m., livestreamed on the church's Facebook page and audio broadcast in the Bolan parking lot
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Manly- Christmas Eve service, 7 p.m., Christmas service, 9 a.m.
Elk Creek Lutheran Church- Christmas Eve candlelight service, 5 p.m.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton- Christmas Eve candlelight services at 4, 6 and 10 p.m.; Christmas Eve service streamed on the church's Facebook page and website at 8:30 p.m.; Christmas   Day   service with communion, 9:30 a.m.
Fertile Lutheran Church-Christmas Eve candlelight service and Sunday school program, 4:30 p.m.
First Lutheran Church, Northwood- Christmas Eve, virtual worship on Facebook at 4:30 p.m., outdoor candlelight service at Swensrud Park, broadcast for people to listen in cars at 88.7 FM, at 9 p.m.; Christmas Day, virtual worship at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook with Holy Communion at home
