Wheelin’ With Worth car cruise/show Sunday

The annual Wheelin’ With Worth Car Cruise/Show will be held this Sunday, August 7. The event raises funds for the Relay For Life of Worth County.
Registration for the car cruise will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Strike Zone in Northwood.
The cruise starts there at noon, on a path that will lead to the Worth County Fairgrounds.
The cruising cars will be joined by others for a car show from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Worth County Fairgrounds. Registration is open from noon to 3 p.m. at the north gate for those not taking part in the cruise.
At 4:30 p.m., trophies will be awarded with trophies selected by cancer survivors, a people’s choice, first through third and a special award for the best decorated donation bucket.
Besides the car activities, a sloppy joe meal will be served and a bake sale will open at 3 p.m.
A silent auction will be held from 3-4:15 p.m. Winners will be announced after the car awards.
The public is invited to see the cars, enjoy the meal and take part in the auction, as well as the other fun of the event.
