The Highway 65 Garage Sales will take place this weekend, Friday and Saturday, June 18-19.
During the weekend event, those living in communities along Highway 65, from Glenville to Manly, are encouraged to hold garage sales. And those looking to shop are encouraged to travel the route....

The Northwood Volunteer Fire Company will host a drive-up to-go barbecue this Saturday, June 12, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the station in Northwood.
The NVFC members will be cooking and serving pulled pork, beans and a salad, available with a free will donation.
The North Central Iowa Genealogical Society will hold its regular meeting this Saturday, June 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Masonic Temple in Mason City.

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will visit Worth County tomorrow, Thursday, June 3, as a part of his annual 99 county tour of the state.
Grassley will be at the town hall in Manly, at 106 South Broadway, from 10:15-11:15 a.m. for a Q&A session.
