Although this year’s team is well balanced from top to bottom, in last Tuesday’s 3-1 win over RRMR the Lady Vikings used its upperclassmen to pull out the win. N-K was led at the net by senior, Natalie Cordle who registered a team high 10 kills and three blocked shots. Cordle leads the team on the year in both categories with 26 kills and 10 blocks.

Viking Jaela Parks got her final campaign in an N-K uniform started on a high note in the team's two matches last week, a 3-0 win over Riceville and a 3-1 loss to North Butler. With Parks at the service line in the second set at Riceville the talented senior ripped off 13 consecutive points on her way to a 25-28, four ace performance. Parks leads the team now with 21 assists and six service aces, while boasting an .881 serving percentage.
