Fifth grade boys basketball finishes season on top
The fifth grade boys finished their season on February 8 in a tournament at Newman. They got a first place finish again, ending the year with a 17-8 record. N-K students were asked to bring a can of soup or other canned item to place in boxes representing the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, whichever team they wanted to see win the Super Bowl. After the Souper Bowl was over, N-K students chose the Chiefs, with 115 items, to the Eagles, with 91 items, for a total of 206 items.
